Privacy policy
This page explains what we collect through this site, why, and what happens to it.
What we collect: when you use the contact form, your name, email, the topic you pick, your message, and (if you add it) your company or website.
Why: only to reply to you and keep a record of our conversation.
How it reaches us: the contact form sends your message through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, to our email inbox. To block spam, Web3Forms may check your email address and IP address with spam-filter services.
Where it's stored: in our email inbox, which Microsoft hosts. Web3Forms also keeps a copy of each message in a database hosted by Amazon Web Services, and deletes it automatically after three years at most. Web3Forms is based in India and also uses providers such as Cloudflare and Hetzner. More in Web3Forms' privacy policy.
How long we keep it: as long as North Carolina and federal record-keeping laws require.
Analytics and cookies: this site runs on Wix. Wix sets its own cookies to run the site and keep it secure, and Wix may use them to count visits for its built-in site statistics. We don't add any advertising or tracking tools.
What we never do: sell your information. There's no mailing list. If you want the newsletter Click Happens. Or Not., you subscribe to it on LinkedIn.
Your choices: want your information changed or deleted? Email wandee@theclickclickstudio.com. We'll update it or delete your message from our inbox, unless the law says we have to keep it. Web3Forms deletes its copy on its own schedule, after three years at most.
