Accessibility

This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the widely used standard for accessible websites. We test with a keyboard, with browser zoom (pages still fit when the screen is just 320 pixels wide), and at small-screen sizes.

Known gaps: These are the problems we know about. If one gets in your way, tell us and we'll help another way.

  • Sample PDFs: The 4 sample PDFs work with screen readers, but some words inside the drawn screens are very small, and the bullet lists aren't tagged quite to the full PDF standard. Every drawing has a text description. If a PDF doesn't work for you, email us and we'll send it another way.

  • "Before" pictures: In the case studies, the "Before" pictures show the old screens as they were, small text and low contrast included. Each one has a text description that says what it shows.

  • Jump links: The "Jump to" links on Services work with a mouse and a keyboard. But a copied jump link opens the top of the page, not the section, and some screen readers may call the section "main content." Both come from Wix, the platform this site is built on.

  • Moving drawings: On large screens, the drawing at the top of a case study may already look finished on your first visit. The drawing effect plays after you've scrolled past it once. Nothing is hidden. If your device is set to reduce motion, you'll see a still picture.

  • Apple devices: We haven't yet tested with VoiceOver, the screen reader built into iPhones and Macs, or in Safari on an iPhone. If something doesn't work there, please tell us.

Found a problem? Tell us what page and what happened, and we'll work on a fix. We reply within two business days.
